2nd Level Cache

The OpenJPA 2.0 standard is standardizing on a level 2 cache interface. DataCache. This standard has the support of ALL the major J2EE vendors. I believe that the WebSphere DynaCache would make an ideal level 2 cache plugin for OpenJPA 2.0 on WebSphere. An additional mapping layer would need to implemented for the impedance matching between the OpenJPA cache interfaces and the Dynacache DistributedMap interfaces to make the solution consumable.
